Our Services in Detail

Five application areas for

quantitative patent analytics

Technology and patent benchmarking

We compare your patent portfolio with those of your competitors to reveal technological strengths, gaps and areas of differentiation. We assess innovation activity, patent quality and thematic breadth and translate results into meaningful rankings. This enables you to see at a glance how your organisation is positioned technologically – and where strategic investments have the greatest impact.
Detailed benchmarking analyses within your industry
Identification of technological strengths and weaknesses
Derivation of actionable focus areas for R&D strategy

Open & Cross Innovation, innovation networks

We analyse patent and citation data to identify the right innovation partners, research institutions or technology suppliers. Through data-driven network, co-patenting and citation analyses, we uncover existing and potential collaboration relationships. This allows you to identify suitable partners and customers – even outside your industry or region.
Systematic identification of technology partners, start-ups and customers
Mapping of existing and potential innovation networks
Robust scientific foundation for open and cross innovation initiatives

Sustainability communication using patent data

We identify and assess green and sustainable innovations using established patent classifications. When possible, we combine patent data with sustainability indicators to highlight the potential “green impact” of your organisation. The results provide a scientifically sound basis for sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures and investor communication.
Verification of sustainable technologies
Quantification of potential green impact via patent data
Integration into sustainability and ESG reporting
